One of the actresses in this movie franchise, says she has not had a proper meal in years.

Not even on holidays does she allow herself to cheat and eat what she wants.

Because she doesn’t want to go through it alone, her significant other is made to suffer with her.

He expects everyone to always be thin and to always weigh the exact same amount all the time in case he calls them together to do some shooting for a week and then they are off for three months.

The director says that he will never hire anyone not thin again after what happened with the foreign born A list mostly movie actress who almost needs to start using her toes to count her Oscar wins/nominations.

The director said the actress was fat and nearly ruined the movie because of how much she weighed and vowed to never let that happen again.

James Cameron: I eat pressure for breakfast

Cameron shared that one of the pressures on many filmmakers is how to stay objective about your own film. “I think there are a lot of pressures on many filmmakers. One of the biggest ones that people rarely talk about is how to stay objective about your own film. If you work on a film for five years, at the end of that period, can you still look at the movie and see it with fresh eyes? I think this is one of the hardest skills that as director one has to develop,” he said.

He shared his mantra of maintaining his calm. “[When] there is budgetary and deadline pressure, I joke around [saying], ‘I eat pressure for breakfast bring it on’. You have to fortify yourself with that kind of mantra. The truth of it is that if it was not joyful and didn’t feed an artiste creatively every single day, it wouldn’t be tolerable and I wouldn’t have [made it] again,” said Cameron, whose Avatar (2009) and Titanic (1997) are the highest and third highest-grossing films of all time. He even shared that while making Avatar franchise, he had “shot and captured Avatar 3 and even Avatar 4. These films are all written all the way to Avatar 5.” – Source

Kate Winslet Reunites With James Cameron, Who Made Fun of Her Weight on ‘Titanic’

Kate Winslet will be reuniting with James Cameron on the Avatar sequel, which is surprising to hear considering she had such a difficult time working with him on Titanic.

Winslet has talked about the fact that she has struggled with body image issues, having grown up overweight and being nicknamed “Blubber.” She later lost the weight, but according to Rolling Stone, James Cameron mocked her on the set of Titanic, giving her the nickname “Kate Weighs-a-Lot.” Earlier this year, Winslet gave a speech about overcoming bullying, in which she said that she was able to break into Hollywood even without a “perfect body.”

“I learned to embrace my flaws, to make no apology for who I am,” Winslet said. “I dug deep and I decided that I simply wouldn’t listen when they said my body didn’t fit. This is who I am, the real me, Kate from Reading.”

Aside from just the nickname, Winslet told Rolling Stone of “harrowing near-drownings, and lots and lots of yelling” on the set of Titanic. She also told The Los Angeles Times immediately after Titanic wrapped production, “I would only work for Jim Cameron again for a lot of money.” Winslet later said that this quote had been misinterpreted. – Source
