The Jet Ski Photo

Shortly after Paul Walker’s death in December 2013, a rumor emerged, suggesting that he had been photographed alive while riding a jet ski. However, it was later revealed that the photo in question was taken during the filming of the 2005 movie “Into the Blue,” at least eight years before his passing.

The License Plate Rumor

There was a rumor about a license plate discrepancy between an old photograph of the car and the one photographed at the crash site memorial. A user on the Skeptics forum debunked this, confirming that the memorial license plate showed no crash-related damage. It seemed that a fan of Walker and/or Rodas had placed the unrelated license plate at the memorial as a symbolic tribute.

2014 The Airport Video

In 2014, a video surfaced on the Daily Motion website, titled “Paul Walker still ALIVE!!!+PROOF!!!” The video depicted Walker engaging in a conversation with a skycap at an airport. However, the reality behind the video was that it was actually shot for TMZ on September 10, 2013, approximately three months before his tragic passing.

Facts:

  • Vin and Paul were best friends and had worked together on multiple movies from the franchise.

  • In June 2021, Vin Diesel spoke to Extra and shared how Paul Walker’s daughter, Meadow, looks after him as well. He expressed a strong sense of protectiveness towards Meadow and her father’s legacy in the Fast and Furious franchise.

  • Despite losing her father at a young age (she was only 15 at the time of his passing), Meadow has been keeping his memory alive with the support of Diesel and other close family friends.

  • When Meadow got married to Louis Thornton-Allan in October 2021, Diesel had the honor of walking her down the aisle in place of her late father.

  • Meadow, who had a brief cameo in Fast X, attended the movie’s premiere in Rome alongside Vin Diesel in May 2023.
