Although some people did enjoy Meghan Markle‘s Archetypes podcast, it’s safe to say that the deal she had with Spotify wasn’t quite the success that they had hoped it would be. As a result of this, it was announced last month that Spotify and Archewell Audio, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s podcast production company, ended their partnership, which a joint statement claimed was a “mutual” decision.

“Spotify and Archewell Audio have mutually agreed to part ways and are proud of the series we made together,” the joint statement by Spotify and Archewell Audio read last month, although they didn’t go into specific details as to why their partnership was ending.

Meghan was advised to “leave Prince Harry,” to quote GB News, and take on more solo projects in order to salvage what’s left of her career, as she and Prince Harry together – i.e., Brand Sussex – doesn’t appear to be the winning formula they hoped it would be.
