Meghan Markle and Prince Harry put in just one hour a week on average for Archewell last year, resulting in a £536,357 loss for their foundation

In the detailed public disclosure of their accounts, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex only dedicated an hour each in the 2022-23 period.

The Executive Director, Senior Strategic Adviser, and Co-Executive Director, on the other hand, clocked in a solid 40 hours per week.

And that’s not all. Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s Archewell Foundation saw a staggering $11 million dip in donations in 2022 compared to the previous year.

Established two years ago with the noble goal of “uplifting and uniting communities, both local and global, online and offline,” as per its website, the foundation revealed in a recent tax filing that it received just over $2 million in charitable contributions in 2022, a significant drop from the $13 million received in 2021. Quite a twist, don’t you think?
