Sharon Stone’s Eldest Son Files to Legally Take His Mother’s Name

Sharon Stone is about to have one more child carrying on the Stone name.

The “Basic Instinct” star’s 19-year-old son, Roan Bronstein, has filed documents asking to add “Stone” to his moniker.

According to documents obtained by The Blast, Roan filed a petition for change of name this week in L.A. County.

The documents state that Roan Joseph Bronstein is requesting his name to become Roan Joseph Bronstein Stone.

Stone’s son explains that, “I would like to take the surname of each of my parents.”

Roan was born in 2000 and adopted by Stone and then-husband, Phil Bronstein.

The actress wed Bronstein, a former editor for the San Francisco Chronicle, in 1998.

Bronstein filed for divorce in 2003, citing irreconcilable differences, and the split was finalized the following year. – Source
