The management of the biggest K-pop boyband and this controversial A-list music manager have acquired yet another US label with the money earned by said boyband but want to keep its members under slave contracts.

These two best-selling boy banders have been refusing to agree to unfair contract extension so the management has halted their album recordings and stopped contacting one of them.

The guys will be watching their offers be given to other people until they surrender.

If that doesn’t work expect hate campaigns and more information about the guys and the two-colored K-pop girl band to be leaked to the press.

Jimin shares details about his upcoming album, teases a surprise; says Jin contacts them ‘once in a while’

BTS member Jimin surprised fans as he hosted a live session on Weverse speaking about his upcoming album and his tattoo. On Weverse, Jimin also talked about fellow BTS members–RM, Jin, Suga, J-Hope, V, and Jungkook. Jimin also sang and grooved to several songs.

Within a few moments after coming live, Jimin said, as quoted by Twitter user @BTStranslation_, “The album I’m preparing for seems to be coming out in around March. I’ve prepared different kinds of things so I hope you look forward to it. Yeah, this is what I wanted to say first since you have waited a long time.”

A fan asked if Jin is doing well. Jimin said, “Since he now has some time to use the phone and contact us once in a while, we get to know how he is doing okay. He’s kind of really cool. Jin hyung (brother) is not just your average guy. He’s so cool.” When a fan asked if he and V (Kim Taehyung) still fight a lot, the singer replied, “Not really, we don’t fight these days. We used to fight when we were young.” – Source

Scooter Braun Talks BTS and His Company’s Future With Korean Entertainment Giant HYBE

When Scooter Braun and Bang Si-hyuk first began to discuss the possible merger of their two companies, their Zoom calls had surprisingly little to do with business. As Braun, whose Ithaca Holdings was acquired by Korean entertainment giant HYBE in a $1.05 billion deal, recounted in a Variety cover story this week: “We talked about our interests, meditation, music, family, and we really became friends.”

The conversations went so well that Braun traveled to South Korea, self-quarantined for the mandated period of time, and saw firsthand the presence and power of the company formerly known as Big Hit Entertainment and home to pop group BTS.

Braun had visited the country several times in the past, mainly during concert stops with management clients like Justin Bieber and Ariana Grande, but also notably with Korean artist Psy, whose “Gangnam Style” was a massive global hit in 2012 and a precursor to the K-pop wave which includes the likes of BTS, Blackpink, NCT127 and others. – Source

Quality Control Sold to Scooter Braun’s Hybe

Hybe, the South Korean company that represents BTS, Tomorrow X Together, Lee Hyun, and more, has acquired the Atlanta hip-hop label Quality Control, The Hollywood Reporter and The New York Times report. The $300 million deal was led by Hybe America CEO Scooter Braun, who oversaw the cash and stock purchase. Hybe will pay a $250 million purchase price and issue $50 million in new stock.

Braun joined Hybe in 2021, and was named sole CEO of the company’s American division last month. It’s his first major move since joining the company, which signals further investment in North America from Hybe. The company’s U.S. portfolio already includes acts associated with Braun’s SB Projects (Justin Bieber, Ariana Grande, the Kid Laroi) and Big Machine Label Group (Tim McGraw, Thomas Rhett, Rascal Flatts). – Source
