Brittany Pietsch, a tech worker, gained attention on TikTok for posting a video of herself getting fired from her job at Cloudfare.

Despite the unexpected viral response, she expressed no regrets, mentioning that many colleagues have messaged her, wishing they had stood up for themselves similarly.

Pietsch never intended for the video to go viral, initially sharing it to update her family and friends.

In the video, she questions the HR representatives about her termination, highlighting her accomplishments and demanding a specific reason for her dismissal.

Cloudfare’s CEO, Matthew Prince, later commented on the video, acknowledging the importance of managers’ involvement in such situations and recognizing that HR should not be solely responsible for employee performance issues.
