This former A- list teen actress who has really done nothing for well over a decade, is someone all of you know.

She is in the news a lot.

She is also helping to recruit tweens and teens for that cult run by her manager.

Mercy Multiplied of Nashville, Tennessee promotes its services as “Christ-Centered Residential Counseling” that is free and voluntary. They claim to help young women “break free from life controlling issues and situations, including anxiety, depression, sexual abuse, eating disorders, self-harm, addictions, unplanned pregnancy, and sex trafficking.”

On April 24, 2016, Slate published their investigation on the counseling center. The cover story features claims of abuse from multiple survivors of Mercy Ministries / Mercy Multiplied.

In 2008, founder Nancy Alcorn explained “that Mercy ‘deals with areas of demonic oppression… If there’s demonic activity, like if somebody has opened themselves up to the spirit of lust or pornography or lots of promiscuous sexual activity, then we’ve opened the door for demonic powers. And secular psychiatrists want to medicate things like that, but Jesus did not say to medicate a demon. He said to cast them out. And that’s supposed to be a part of normal Christianity.'”

First hand accounts of survivors have been posted across the internet.

On Glassdoor, reviews from people purporting to be former employees of Mercy include:

“Most unhealthy workplace I have ever experienced.”

“Seems cultish and I have witnessed verbal and religious abuse to several employees.”

“While they do help some girls, they are out of their depth with severe eating disorders and severe sexual abuse issues. A disaster waiting to happen.” – Source

‘Deeply sorry’ nonprofit declines donations from Jamie Lynn Spears’ memoir

The nonprofit organization that Jamie Lynn Spears pledged to support through sales of her forthcoming memoir has declined to accept any money from the beleaguered star.

In yet more blowback from the controversial book, the 501(c)(3) This Is My Brave announced Monday that its team passed on an opportunity to receive proceeds from “Things I Should Have Said,” which is slated to hit stores on Jan. 18, 2022.

“We heard you. We’re taking action,” the mental health-focused charity said in a statement on Instagram. “We are deeply sorry to anyone we offended. We are declining the donation from Jamie Lynn Spears’ upcoming book.”

This Is My Brave further explained in the caption of the post that it had been “recommended to be a beneficiary organization for the proceeds” of the memoir, but ultimately “made the decision to decline the offer.”

Jamie Lynn’s business manager, Lou Taylor, did not immediately respond to Page Six’s request for comment.

While This Is My Brave did not provide a reason, the growing cries of Britney Spears’ fans in the org’s Instagram comments section likely played a role.

#FreeBritney supporters have been critical of Jamie Lynn, 30, since her pop star sister, 39, accused their family of being complicit in the conservatorship that has controlled Britney’s personal affairs, estate and medical care for the past 13 years. – Source
