Angelo Bertolotti was taken off of life support on Tuesday after a long health battle, according to his children

Brittany Murphy‘s father, Angelo Bertolotti, has died — nine years after the actress’ death. He was 92.

Angelo’s children, Jeff Bertolotti and Pia Reynolds, confirmed the news in separate Facebook posts they shared earlier this week.

“Dad passed peacefully yesterday here in Los Angeles,” Pia wrote. “Thank you all so much for your prayers, love and beautiful words of encouragement. Please keep them coming as we walk through the next steps. ❤️”

Jeff honored his father’s life in a lengthy post in which he wrote Angelo was taken off of life support on Tuesday after a long health battle.- Source
