Julia Fox shows slashes in expensive Hermes Birkin bag after machete ‘attack’

Julia Fox has told how she fought off a machete attack to hang on to her ultra expensive designer Hermes Birkin bag — appearing incredibly relaxed about the danger she encountered to protect the pricey item.

The Uncut Gems star took to TikTok to show off her luxury grey Hermès bag — which could be worth an eye-watering $45,000 — but had clearly come off from the encounter visibly damaged.

Fox, 32, shared only brief details on the ordeal, before quipping: “You know I was holding on to this Birkin for my life.”

She did, however, share makeup free footage of her holding the bag almost downplaying the danger of the ordeal as she explained: “I love her, but she’s been through a lot,” as she held the desirable item up to show slashes and scratches.

“It’s a little hard to see there, but she was actually attacked by a machete,” she added.

But despite her ultra relaxed persona, she stressed: ”I’m not kidding — that actually happened to this bag — and me.”

The close up footage showed you can see the knife went into the bag by at least a half and inch or more.

Appearing to still be in shock she recalled: ”I don’t know how I f***ing managed to like hold on to this.”

The designer handbag lover was clearly keen to hang on to the highly coveted item but fans of the star will recall she does have at least one other similar stashed at home.

Back in February her then-boyfriend Kanye West gifted her a rare black ostrich style with rose gold hardware worth around $45,000.
