He’s telling investors he’ll try to make a new version of TikTok’s special suggestion feature here in America.

This is because there’s pressure for the Chinese company that owns TikTok to sell it.

Mnuchin thinks making this new feature in the US could help him buy TikTok for less money and avoid problems with China. But some people don’t think it’s possible to make this new feature quickly enough.

They also say it’s a big challenge.
