This former A+ list rapper will do anything to get people to buy his new album, even a nearly hour long apology, he doesn’t actually mean.

Kanye West

New album: Vultures

Kanye West, has stirred controversy once again by wearing a T-shirt featuring Kristian “Varg” Vikernes, a Norwegian musician known for his neo-Nazi views. This comes shortly after West issued an apology to the Jewish community for his prior antisemitic comments and actions.

In the photo shared on social media, West is seen wearing the Burzum T-shirt with Vikernes’ image alongside rapper JPEGMafia, showcasing his $850,000 titanium dentures. Vikernes, formerly associated with the black metal project Burzum, served prison time for murdering a bandmate and openly promoted Nazism in the 1990s.

Vikernes had ties to a neo-Nazi group called the Heathen Front and faced legal troubles, including a hate crime conviction in France for inciting racial hatred on his blogs targeting Muslims and Jews.

West’s choice to promote Vikernes and Burzum raises questions about the sincerity of his recent apology to the Jewish community, given his history of antisemitic rhetoric. This incident underscores ongoing concerns about West’s associations with individuals known for extremist views, as actions speak louder than words.
