Paula Abdul has filed a lawsuit accusing former “American Idol” and “So You Think You Can Dance” producer Nigel Lythgoe of multiple s.e.x.u.a.l. assaults.

Abdul alleges that Lythgoe assaulted her during the early seasons of “American Idol” in a hotel elevator, where he allegedly shoved her against a wall, grabbed her g.e.n.i.t.a.l.s and breasts, and forcibly kissed her.

The second incident occurred in 2014 at Lythgoe’s home after a dinner invitation, where Abdul claims Lythgoe forced himself on her while proclaiming they would make an “excellent power couple.”

Abdul, fearing retaliation, remained silent about the assaults.

The lawsuit also alleges Lythgoe s.e.x.u.a.l.ly assaulted one of Abdul’s assistants during the filming of “So You Think You Can Dance” in 2015.

Lythgoe allegedly taunted Abdul about the statute of limitations, indicating he was aware of the wrongfulness of his actions.

The suit further claims Lythgoe verbally insulted and belittled Abdul in 2001 during discussions about launching “American Idol.”
