Jennifer Lawrence finally breaks her silence on Chris Pratt affair rumours – 2018

It’s always entertaining when Jennifer Lawrence is on the promotional trail.

The 27-year-old actress is currently doing press to push her new film Red Sparrow, a Russian spy thriller, and has been delivering in every single si-down. While in London, she she was asked by KISS FM about the weirdest rumour she heard about herself, which she says was whispers she had an affair with Chris Pratt, her former Passengers co-star.

Pratt and his ex-wife Anna Fair announced their split after 10 years in 2017, and Faris previously admitted that the Oscar-winner apologised to her for the rumours and they made her feel “s***ty” as it was before they even broke up.

“I never had an affair with Chris Pratt on Passengers. That’s a good one…,” she said. “I mean, they got a divorce like two years later and everybody was like, ‘Jennifer Lawrence!’ And I was like, ‘What the…what, I’m in Montreal two years later’.”

In her 2017 book Unqualified, Faris said seeing pictures of her husband with the actress made her feel “insecure” even though she knew nothing was going on between them.

“I didn’t want to pay attention to the stories, but I couldn’t block them all out, either,” she wrote. “I’d always taken pride in our relationship, and the coverage, even though it was just false rumors, was making me feel insecure.” – Source
