Meghan Markle and Prince Harry had meeting with CA Gov. Gavin Newsom: report

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry were a little more involved in American politics than previously thought, according to a report.

The pair had an hour-long video meeting with California Gov. Gavin Newsom on Oct. 19, less than a month before the presidential election, The Sun reported.

It’s unknown what Harry and Meghan discussed with Newsom during the meeting, which came as Newsom was in the midst of deciding who would fill Vice President Kamala Harris’ spot in the U.S. Senate.

Royals are expected to stay out of politics.

Newsom’s office confirmed the Oct. 19 meeting to The Post, describing it as “introductory,” but did not answer questions as to what was discussed. – Source
