Blanket, the youngest son of Michael Jackson, has initiated legal action against his grandmother, Katherine Jackson, aiming to prevent her from accessing funds from the late pop star’s estate.

Court documents filed by Blanket, who now goes by Bigi Jackson at the age of 22, reveal his opposition to Katherine’s use of the estate’s money.

Previously, they had united against the executors of Michael’s estate to halt a significant business transaction, details of which remain undisclosed.

This transaction is speculated to involve the sale of a portion of Michael’s music catalog to Sony for $600 million.

Despite their efforts, the court ruled in favor of the executors, permitting the use of the late star’s funds for the deal. While Katherine intends to challenge this decision, Bigi opts against it, reportedly anticipating an unfavorable outcome.

As the heir to his father’s estate, Bigi is keen on safeguarding his inheritance and is unwilling to have Michael’s estate cover Katherine’s legal expenses.
