The family of the deceased refuting stories the A+ singer reached out shows how scared outlets are of crossing the singer by reporting the truth.

Outlets post what is sent in by the singer’s team and stay away from the negative for fear of losing access and retaliation.

In the country the death took place, it isn’t a legal liability to say you are sorry.

The singer doesn’t care to do so and knows outlets won’t go against her.

Taylor Swift

Brazil

A tragic incident occurred during a Taylor Swift concert in Rio de Janeiro, where 23-year-old Ana Clara Benevides Machado fell ill and later died during a heatwave. The extreme temperatures, reaching nearly 140 degrees Fahrenheit with the heat index, raised concerns about the conditions at the event.

Accusations surfaced, with some fans claiming they were not allowed to bring water into the stadium. Conflicting reports emerged regarding the availability of water, with allegations of overpriced water being sold and Swift’s team attempting to provide free water before running out. Videos captured fans’ distress and Swift’s attempts to address the situation during the show.

In response, Swifties have initiated an online petition for a “Benevides law” mandating free water provision at events, garnering over 323,000 signatures.

Incidents of fatalities in large gatherings, including concerts, are not uncommon. The Astroworld tragedy in 2021, where numerous attendees were injured and 10 lost their lives in a crowd surge during a Travis Scott set in Texas, remains etched in many memories.

While the circumstances surrounding the fatalities at Scott’s and Swift’s shows differ, both events raise the critical question of responsibility in such situations. The outcome of the Astroworld case is ambiguous, as the Texas grand jury chose not to indict the organizers or Scott on criminal charges.

However, Live Nation and Scott face over 500 lawsuits, some of which have been settled out of court.
