My only guess is this B list mostly movie actress who is in this space frequently didn’t want to sleep with anyone for awhile so got herself a boyfriend.
She can plead boyfriend when confronted with the casting couch and go on vacation with someone she can call her boyfriend but when the guy has a boyfriend already who he left behind and is barely in the closet you can run the risk of being very embarrassed by a tabloid headline.
