To nobody’s surprise, one of the few people standing by the rapper is the recently involuntarily retired A list athlete who rapes women, exposes himself at hotel pools, and just lost a hefty lawsuit for assaulting a truck driver that he didn’t want to pay for delivering his things.

Antonio Brown defends Ye amid controversy, says he will remain Donda Sports president

Antonio Brown released a lengthy statement defending Ye (formerly known as Kanye West), who is in the middle of controversy after making, and doubling down on, antisemitic comments.

Brown defended his friend while stating that he will be remaining as the president of Ye’s Donda Sports.

“I remain true to the mission of Donda and our amazing staff and community,” Brown said in a statement on Twitter. “I remain dedicated to helping clarify statements taken out of proportion by the media. I remain committed to bringing new ideas, experiences, and designs to our world. I remain in support of the humanity that is Ye.”

Donda Sports lost two of its top clients on Tuesday, as Los Angeles Rams superstar defensive tackle Aaron Donald and Boston Celtics forward Jaylen Brown both announced they would be dropping the agency that handled their brand marketing.

Brown initially said that he would stay with Donda Sports, but after reflection, decided it best to move on. – Source

Antonio Brown ordered to pay $1.2 million after allegedly assaulting moving truck driver in 2020

Former NFL wide receiver Antonio Brown was ordered to pay $1.2 million in damages to a moving truck driver he allegedly assaulted in 2020, according to TMZ Sports.

Brown apparently refused to respond or show up to hearings in the lawsuit against him in Broward County, Florida.

A jury found Brown liable for $407,000 to cover Anton Tumanov’s past and future medical expenses and $793,000 for past and future pain and suffering, per the report.

The lawsuit stemmed from an incident in January 2020, when Brown and his trainer allegedly attacked Tumanov at Brown’s home. Tumanov said he was attacked by the two after they didn’t want to pay him $4,000 for delivering Brown’s items.

Brown’s trainer, Glenn Holt, was arrested at the time of the incident. Brown reportedly locked himself in his home, and then turned himself in days later. He later pled no-contest, and was sentenced to two years probation. That probation was then cut short.

Tumanov was initially seeking more than $30,000 in damages for the “severe bodily injuries, pecuniary losses and mental anguish” from the incident. – Source
