Elton John returns to stage for marathon concert in Nashville after saying he was ‘extremely unwell’ over weekend

Elton John is still standing after he called off a concert over the weekend because he said he felt “extremely unwell.”

The music legend returned to the stage in Nashville’s Bridgestone Arena for a marathon concert Monday night.

“I’ve had enough applause to last me a trillion lifetimes,” the 72-year-old piano man said at the nearly 3-hour show, according to the Nashville Tennessean. “I won’t forget you. God, how could I forget you guys? You’re in my soul and in my heart.”

Saturday night was not all right for rocking after John called off a show in Indianapolis. That concert date was pushed back to March 26.

John’s next scheduled show is in Memphis on Wednesday. He’s set to swing through Long Island for a performance at Nassau Coliseum on Nov. 16.- Source
