Dozens of agents at the agency are in talks to start a new agency and bring all their clients with them.

They know they are getting screwed in the deal and they represent the vast majority of the talent.

CAA, a prominent talent agency, has undergone a change in ownership.

The majority stake of CAA has been acquired by Artémis, an investment firm controlled by François-Henri Pinault, the CEO of the fashion company Kering and an heir to a French luxury goods fortune.

Despite this change, CAA’s existing leadership team, consisting of Bryan Lourd, Kevin Huvane, and Richard Lovett, will remain in their positions, having made long-term commitments to continue leading the agency.

Looks like Bryan Lourd will be appointed as the CEO of the company under its new ownership, while Jim Burtson will retain the role of president.
