Skai Jackson, a former Disney Channel star, faced severe online mockery this week after asking fans to send her $5 in order to participate in a raffle. The fortunate winner of this contest, whose name will be announced early next week, will reportedly receive a MacBook as the prize.

Skai, aged 21, gained fame through her role on the Disney Channel sitcom “Jessie.” In a candid confession on TikTok, she stated, “Me personally, I do not need money” She clarified that the $5 entry fee for the raffle would contribute towards the prize, and any remaining funds would be used for a future giveaway.

Despite her explanation, Skai became the target of relentless ridicule on Twitter. One humorous user quipped, “The disney money has ran out.”
