We told you a long time ago that this leading man and this up-and-coming actress were put together as a couple for publicity purposes by a very powerful producer who likes to play matchmaker.
The actor and actress don’t like each other much, but they have managed to fake a relationship for the past two years because they anticipated a big 2017 awards season for a film they did together.
Except… the film flopped.
It didn’t light up the box office (in fact, it lost money), and nobody got nominated for anything.
They were originally scheduled to split up this spring.
Since awards season is now a bust, the actor and actress are ready to move up the breakup schedule.
Unfortunately, their shared publicist AND the producer are begging them to stay together!
It is very convenient for photo ops and interviews when one publicist controls everything.
And nobody wants to disappoint a powerful producer who can give them work!
It will be interesting to see if the breakup happens faster because the nominations didn’t materialize… or not at all because the publicist and the producer convinced them to stay together!
