Charges over Frances McDormand’s stolen Oscar mysteriously dropped

Prosecutors on Tuesday mysteriously dropped the case against the man accused of swiping Frances McDormand’s best-actress Oscar at an Academy Awards after party in 2018.

Terry Bryant’s felony theft trial was set to begin on Tuesday, but prosecutors said in court they could not go forward with the charges against him.

They gave no reason for their decision, and the judge granted a defense motion to dismiss the case. – Source
