Noticeably absent from the show and parties last night is this former Tweener turned adult singer/part-time actress who had a behind the scenes role in a nominated show.

According to one of her co-stars from her most recent movie, the actress got undressed for the director on four separate occasions during filming and let him film her removing her clothes.

No touching.

Just staring and filming.

Selena Gomez Fought Hard to Be in Woody Allen’s Upcoming Movie — She Auditioned 5 Times!

Selena Gomez fought hard for her spot in Woody Allen’s upcoming film A Rainy Day in New York.

“I auditioned for it five times,” the “Wolves” singer, 25, recently told Billboard. “I didn’t have the greatest confidence a few times and they passed on me, but it turned out that they didn’t find anyone, so I auditioned one more time and gave it my all. I do feel like I earned it.”

She also went on to explain how much she cherished the experience of working on the film — especially since at the time she was recovering from surgery after getting a kidney transplant.

“It was a great experience for me,” she continued. “In acting and in film, you’re around a much more stable community. I say that delicately because we all have our stuff, but it was very supportive. It really opened me up, and I needed that after the surgery. There can be so much noise and chaos around everyone’s daily life, and it was really great that when we stepped on-set, it was just about that.” – Source
