You don’t have enough fingers to count the Emmy nominations/wins of this A/A- list actress.

It is definitely an interesting choice she has made with her latest project which is a kids cartoon featuring a human sacrificing blood drinking cult.

Christine Baranski

Praise Petey

Plot: The animated series Praise Petey follows Petey, a New York City “it” girl who has it all until her life comes crashing down around her, but a mysterious gift from her father lifts things up a bit: she’s going to “lean into” modernizing his small-town cult.

Kiersey Clemons, known for her role in The Flash, lends her voice to Eliza, a bartender at a local bar who reluctantly becomes best friends with Petey and finds herself entangled in a new cult. Amy Hill, from Magnum P.I., voices Mae Mae, a warm and hospitable Southern mother to Bandit and the trusted assistant to the cult leader. Stephen Root, known for his work in Barry, voices Petey’s affectionate father, a charismatic yet unconventional cult leader who believes in unique practices such as meditation, jumping in fields, and the importance of his bloodline for humanity’s salvation. It remains uncertain whether he is alive or deceased.
