This permanent A list singer who had his best days a few decades ago still fronts the band that made him famous.

He says he was intentionally poisoned by someone posing as a caterer who left immediately after administering it in some food.

Axl Rose speaks out after becoming “severely ill” during Guns N’ Roses show

Before the post-Abu Dhabi Grand Prix show on Sunday (November 25), Rose came on stage at the Du Arena to warn fans that he had been throwing up backstage – but he still wanted to perform if possible. “They’ve got me on IVs and a bunch of injections because I got sick today,” Rose told the crowd. “I’ve been throwing up for the last five hours. Instead of cancelling, we’re going to do the best show we can for you.”

The band managed to play 17 songs over two hours – including hits ‘Welcome To The Jungle’ and ‘Sweet Child O’ Mine’ – before they cut their show short after an airing of their classic ballad ‘November Rain’ due to their singer’s illness.

Rose has now taken to Twitter to assure fans that he is on the mend, describing his illness – which he called “this flu or whatever” – as a “wild ride”.- Source
