Niall Horan sends Greg James ‘jealous’ texts after radio host bonds with Shawn Mendes over haircare
Greg James has really bonded with Shawn Mendes recently and Niall Horan is having absolutely none of it. It all kicked off earlier this month when Shawn left Greg hanging by failing to ring in live for his Radio 1 interview. The singer was so ‘mortified’ that he sent Greg possibly the sweetest, most polite text of apology – and they ended up swapping haircare tips (Shawn keeps his ends lustrous with hair oil). Anyway, Niall is pretty affronted about the whole thing because, frankly, he and Greg were bezzies first, ok?!
Poking fun at Greg’s new friendship, the One Direction star texted him to say: ‘Hey Greg it’s Niall Horan. ‘Just to let you know I use Redken Rough Paste in my hair. See you soon x.’
Greg replied,’You wanna get on the oil m8,’ to which Niall sent a string of laughing face emojis. Rubbing salt into the wound of betrayal, Greg added: ‘When you get to the luscious length Shawn and I have, you’ll understand x.’ Keeping his dignity, Niall responded: ‘Two mops.’ Greg shared a screenshot of their exchange on Instagram and captioned it: ‘Someone’s getting jealous…cc: @shawnmendes.’ – Source
