It is a little bit confusing when the offspring of a celebrity says one thing about that sex cult, but also has been in touch with members who say they are still active in it.

There were many brave and extraordinary people, including my mother @catherineoxenberg , who helped to dismantle the NXIVM cult. I want to say thank you to the people who defected before me and saw the wrong that was being done. And, of course, those who chose to fight bravely to bring them down. There are far too many people and groups like this in the world, and the more information we can share, the more we can help others to avoid abusive people and groups like this. If I can help one person, that will be my greatest reward in sharing my story… however scary it has been. On another note, I am so grateful for all of the love and support I have been getting from those who have been in cults and those who have not. There is a commonality that I’m seeing, and the more stories that are told to expose these injustices, the less shame any of us have to live with. I hope “Seduced” sheds light on more of the truth of what NXIVM really was, versus what they lead thousands of people to believe. As I’ve said, this is much bigger than me and I played my part, just like everybody else has. Together, our ultimate goal is to see justice on October 27th. I believe we will get it. #speakup

Seduced a 4 part Documentary series out tomorrow! @starz out 10/18 Someone said to me while we were filming this show “never forget where you come from” she said it casually while I checked into a hotel front desk. I smiled and said thank you. She didn’t know how right she was. For 7 years I was lost on a path I didn’t realize was being lead and directed by a Predator who used and exploited people for years, thankfully he’s in prison awaiting his sentencing October 27th 2020 Nobody wants to talk about these things and that’s why I can see now how important it is: these conversations need to be had, to sit and listen no matter how uncomfortable it might feel for you or the person listening. Living free of shame is more important. And exposing predators and high-control groups that use coercion to manipulate and extort people – that is abuse. It could be in a relationship, in the workplace or in a group like Nxivm. The truth is taking your voice back and sharing the truth with support and safety is the first step. It is a way to stop these types of abuses of power. Thank you to all the women who came before me to make this happen and anyone who has ever been courageous enough to speak out or support those that do ,thank you for all the love. I am incredibly grateful and honored to be a part of this project and share this with you and to have the opportunity thanks to @starz and our team to have my voice and ultimately life back in my own hands.
