Kanye West Gets Permanently Banned From Grindr After Antisemitic Remarks

CALABASAS, CALIFORNIA – Noting that they have a zero tolerance policy for discrimination of any kind, today the gay dating website announced that they would be permanently banning popular rapper and fashion designer Kanye West after his recent controversial comments towards the Jewish community, citing that they didn’t “feel comfortable” having a man who discriminates against a group of people on a platform targeted to a group of people who also constantly face discrimination.

After this announcement was made, people on the internet were quick to make fun of Ye for his supposed hidden homosexuality, however, Kanye would quickly release a statement admitting that he used Grindr, but also denying that he was gay. “While I did use the app Grindr, it was not with sexual intent, straight or gay.” West said on the phone during a telivised interview on Fox News.

“My usage of Grindr was purley for promotion and fan outreach. The LGBT community is a large and important community in our modern society, so we as musical artists have to take advantage of that. Besides, other apps like Tinder and Bumble don’t seek the kind of audience we’re looking for.
