Would they let him spend time alone with their underage female relatives?
R Kelly Asks Judge To Let Him Move Into Apartment, Next To Mall Full Of Underage Girls
R. Kelly’s recent request to be let out of prison includes a proposed plan which has him moving into an apartment complex in the middle of an outdoor shopping mall.
As The Blast previously reported, Kelly is once again trying to convince a judge to let him out on bond in his criminal case. He has previously attempted to make various arguments, but they have all been shut down.
In his recent attempt, Kelly says the current pandemic makes his stay at Chicago MCC quite dangerous given the circumstances. He complains about the inability to meet with his lawyers to help build his defense for his two pending federal criminal cases.
In recent court documents, Kelly’s lawyer proposed a plan to have the disgraced singer be released from prison and move into an apartment with his girlfriend, Joycelyn Savage. The lawyer revealed Savage is no longer living in Kelly’s luxury 2-bedroom, 2.5-bathroom, 2,022 sq. ft. Trump Tower Chicago condo. The amenities included a door person, elevator, exercise room, health club, pool, sauna, restaurant, storage, and valet.
The docs note Savage is currently living in an extremely modest apartment which is 11 minutes from the Trump Tower Chicago. The large apartment complex offers 1-2-bedroom apartments with rent ranging from $2,000 to around $4,000. The home is a far cry from Kelly’s former digs.
Kelly offers to live with Savage under home arrest if the judge allows him out of prison. The documents failed to note the apartment is built into an outdoor mall, which is constantly full of underage girls. The apartment is directly next door to an Old Navy, H&M, Victoria’s Secret and a movie theater. Kelly can look directly down into the shopping area from the proposed apartment. – Source
EXCLUSIVE: R. Kelly Tells Judge It’s Not Illegal To Spread Herpes
R. Kelly’s has fired back at a New York STD law as he fights to get a disturbing charge dismissed in his child sex abuse/racketeering case.
Earlier this month, the “I Believe I Can Fly” hitmaker was accused of deliberately infecting his victims with Herpes, although he has denied having the incurable STD.
The Feds say R. Kelly gave Herpes to at least two women.
One was an underaged Jane Doe, while the second woman allegedly contracted the STD from R. Kelly in 2017.
R. Kelly’s lawyer Steven Greenberg just filed documents challenging a New York law that has been on the books since 1943.
Section 2307 of the New York Public Health Law makes it illegal for someone who knows they have an “infectious venereal disease” to have sex with another person without telling them.
But Greenberg believes the law prevents people in New York from having sex altogether and therefore must be unconstitutional.
“The law does not punish the transmission of herpes, nor does it punish the failure to disclose to another that one has an STD,” Steve Greenberg argued. “Instead, it prohibits anyone who has an STD from having sexual intercourse. It is this wholesale prohibition that the government does not even attempt to address – nor can it…”
Greenberg claimed the statute being used to target R. Kelly is “puritanical” and was enacted during a time when interracial sex was illegal, and same-sex marriages weren’t even considered.
Greenberg called the law “wholesale prohibition” on sex and under the current law, tens-of-millions of people with Herpes and other STDs would be banned from being intimate with their partners. – Source
