In an in-depth interview with The Cut (opens in new tab), the Duchess of Sussex revealed that there is a heartbreaking reason behind her decision to only share a few images of her children over the years.

In the interview, Meghan Markle condemned the Royal Rota rules that William and Kate have to ‘play’ with Cambridge children. The Duchess said, “There’s literally a structure by which if you want to release photos of your child, as a member of the family, you first have to give them to the Royal Rota [the U.K. media pool].”

The Duchess of Sussex added that she felt uncomfortable sharing images with the same tabloids that were writing negative articles about her and using negative slurs to describe the Duchess such as ‘the N-word’.

“Why would I give the very people that are calling my children the N-word a photo of my child before I can share it with the people that love my child? You tell me how that makes sense and then I’ll play that game,” said Meghan. – Source
