Les Wexner makes first public appearance since stepping down as L Brands CEO

COLUMBUS, Ohio (WSYX/WTTE) — For the first time since he agreed to sell most of Victoria’s Secret to an equity firm, Les Wexner made a public appearance.

He was at a board meeting Wednesday for Ohio State’s Wexner Medical Center. Most of the meeting was held behind closed doors during an executive session.

After the meeting, Wexner, 82, was asked what led to his decision to sell most of Victoria’s Secret and step down as L Brands CEO, but did not give an answer.

It was announced earlier this month that Wexner was selling a majority share of Victoria’s Secret and that he would be taking a step back from the board of his company, L. Brands. – Source
