Princess Charlene Shares Her First Family Portrait Since Returning to Monaco

Princess Charlene has been keeping out of the spotlight recently. The royal returned to Monaco in March after an extended stay in a Swiss clinic where she was treated for “exhaustion, both emotional and physical,” according to a statement her husband, Prince Albert, made to People in November. However her return to the country has not meant a return to public life, with the palace announcing that, “In order for Princess Charlene to achieve a full recovery and as she still needs peace and calm, The Princely Couple therefore asks that their private life and family environment continue to be respected.”

Since then, little has been seen of the princess. (She was recently notably absent from the memorial service for Prince Philip, which Albert attended) but on Sunday, she released a new photo on her social media to celebrate Easter—a poolside family portrait of herself, Prince Albert, and their 7-year-old twins, Prince Jacques and Princess Gabriella in springy shades of white and beige. – Source
