If you think the money laundering is bad when it comes to the popular show on the streaming channel or the movies directed by the permanent A+ list director, nothing compares to the movie producers who are asking for $1M to sell their movies/shows and are given $5M. It doesn't seem like a lot, but that is done 100 times per year.
Kindness: This punk band has been heavily associated with an East Coast city, so much so that when an A+ list director made a film in that city, they were heavily used in the advertising. The members of the band have been known to not only befriend fans enough to both feed them behind the scenes and invite them to barbecues, but to invite them on stage to sing with the band.
Often in this space, I have written about a permanent A+ list director and his obsession with young children. There is another permanent A+ list director who is an Oscar winner/nominee who is about to be called out by this A- list mostly movie actress who has been acting for decades and is someone all of you know. Way back in the day she did a movie with the director. One movie. She refused to work with him ever again.
This streaming service is trying to make a big splash and just forked over a massive pile of money to try and make that happen. Might as well throw it in a dumpster and light it on fire. They have been played by this permanent A list director.
This permanent A+ list director who has an insane budget for his last movie is even more crazy this time around. He has a new film in pre-production. The film is already running way over budget, and will cost a gargantuan sum to finish.
This long-delayed film directed by an aging permanent A list director will finally premiere in about two months. Three aging A-list actors are featured in starring roles. This group is so far past their prime, that even the concept of a big-budget film in this genre today would be laughable. That is, to everyone except the streaming giant. Yet another colossal waste of money, but the streaming service has already sent signals out that they will spare no expense, legal or not, to try and buy as many awards as possible, for this white elephant of a film.
