‘Anchorman’ star David Koechner files for divorce after nearly 22 years of marriage

“Anchorman” star David Koechner and his wife, Leigh Koechner, are splitting up after nearly 22 years of marriage.

According to court documents obtained by Page Six, David, 57, filed a petition for dissolution of marriage with minor children in California on Tuesday.

The former couple — who tied the knot in 1998 — share five children. The documents did not include a reason for the split.

Leigh, 53, who has a podcast called “Messy Imperfect Life With Leigh,” revealed on Twitter Tuesday she will be launching a webinar about the different stages of divorce and “how to navigate them back to love, back to happiness” starting Jan. 28.

“Divorce sucks, but we don’t have to suffer,” she added in the tweet.

Leigh and David spent Christmas together with their kids and appeared amicable in a photo she posted.

On her website, Leigh had shared she met “the love of my life” David on an airplane.

“It wasn’t long before we were married and expecting,” she added.
