Becky Lynch Addresses WrestleMania 35 Main Event Finish Controversy

The WrestleMania 35 main event ended on a somewhat controversial on Sunday night, and now both the WWE and Becky Lynch are trying to move on. For those who missed it, the “Winner Take All” triple threat main event saw Ronda Rousey attempt to hit Lynch with her Piper’s Pit finisher, only for Lynch to roll off her shoulders and roll her up with a crucifix pin. The referee counted Rousey’s shoulders down for a three-count, except the replay clearly showed that she had one shoulder up throughout the attempt. The former Raw Women’s Champion immediately disputed the referee’s count, and even commentator Corey Graves pointed out the mistake as Lynch was celebrating with both championships.

In the recap of the events on Raw, WWE’s production team cut out the image of Rousey’s shoulder being up. Lynch made no mention of it during her celebration promo, and ignored the controversy during a new interview with the Gorilla Position podcast.

“I’m happy I beat her with a wrestling move after she talked about how…..she insulted my business. She insulted my business and I beat her with a wrestling move,” Lynch said. “That’s all we need to know. The ref counted to three and I became Becky Two Belts.” – Source

WWE Wrestler Chyna Died From Mix of Alcohol and Drugs, Autopsy Confirms

Former WWE star Chyna (real name Joan Marie Laurer) died on April 20 due to a combined effect of alcohol and drugs, ET confirms.

The official autopsy report obtained by ET states that Laurer had several substances in her system at the time of her death, including Ethanol, Oxycodone, Oxymorphone, Nordiazepam, Temazepam, Zolpidem, and Marijuana.

According to the report, Laurer was found lying on her right side of her bed inside her Redondo Beach, California, apartment, where “there was a bloody purge on the pillow underneath her face.”

“On Wednesday, April 4, 2016, the decedent’s manager became concerned when she had not been on any social media outlets since Sunday,” the Los Angeles County Coroner’s office states in the report. “The manager arrived at the decedent’s residence and entered through the closed but unlocked door. Once inside, he went into the decedent’s bedroom, and he found the decedent lying on the bed, unresponsive.”

Additionally, the report states that Laurer’s mother told investigators that her daughter “was an alcoholic and drank cheap wine, and she was addicted to prescription medications.” Additionally, several pill bottles were found throughout the 45-year-old wrestling icon’s apartment unit. – Source
