It was obviously a horrific accident, but nowhere has an actor had a bigger 180 from hated a-hole who no one can stand and a very very messy personal life, to an actor basking in the public’s love that he is still alive.

Jeremy Renner makes 1st red carpet appearance since snowplow accident

Jeremy Renner is back.

The 52-year-old made a big return to the red carpet on Tuesday — his first since his near-fatal snowplow accident on New Year’s Day. He attended the premiere of his four-part Disney+ reality docuseries Rennervations, walking hand-in-hand with his 10-year-old daughter Ava Berlin Renner. He was surrounded by his larger family whom he’s credited in helping him recover after being run over by his 14,330-pound PistenBully on his Reno, Nev., property.

Jeremy used a cane to keep stabilized — having broken “35 or so” bones in the accident, he said on Monday’s Jimmy Kimmel Live — and then switched to a scooter as he worked his way down the press line at the Regency Village Theatre in Los Angeles. – Source

Jeremy Renner jokes that snowplow accident was ‘the easiest way to quit smoking’

A few months after getting crushed by a 14,000-pound snowplow, Jeremy Renner is reflecting on the silver linings of the life-threatening accident that landed him in an ICU with more than 30 broken bones.

In a recent interview with Jimmy Kimmel, Renner said that he “got lucky in a lot of ways.” Although he broke around 35 bones — he said the doctors keep discovering more — the snowplow that he described as a “giant metal cookie roller” missed every vertebrae and organ. He didn’t have any brain swelling. And when Kimmel mentioned a “collapsed lung,” Renner joked: “Yeah, that’s fine. I’ve got another one.”

“My eye did pop out,” the actor said. “That’s weird.” – Source
