Surprisingly enough, despite all the stuff that has come out the past couple of days about a news anchor, it is the big boss that is on the shakiest of ground.

He was never going to be a good fit for the place.

The anchor already got demoted for his behavior and if he is fired, they are going to have to pay him.

They are encouraging him to find a new home though.

Don Lemon

CNN’s Don Lemon ‘apoplectic,’ wants to sue Variety over ‘sexist’ allegations: report

CNN’s Don Lemon is reportedly weighing a possible lawsuit over a bombshell expose in Variety that alleged he has a history of threatening and demeaning female colleagues such as Soledad O’Brien, Kyra Phillips and Nancy Grace.

The embattled “CNN This Morning” co-host, who recently got into hot water over making sexist on-air comments, is “apoplectic” about Variety’s report and has “consulted attorneys about a possible lawsuit” against the entertainment publication, Insider reported Wednesday.

Variety reported Wednesday that Lemon — who sparked outrage in February when he declared that 51-year-old GOP presidential candidate Nikki Haley was not “in her prime” — engaged in disrespectful, “diva-like” behavior often directed at his female co-workers.

The report alleged that the 57-year-old Lemon allegedly called a female producer fat to her face, accused O’Brien of not being black, and sent Phillips a menacing text message because he was jealous in 2008. – Source

Whispers already spreading around CNN that Chris Licht is on his way out

Less than a year after he took over as chairman of CNN, Page Six hears that there’s already chatter throughout the halls of the network that Chris Licht will be gone before Labor Day.

Licht — who’s proved himself a phenom at the helm of shows like “The Late Show,” “Morning Joe” and “CBS This Morning,” but has no experience at the top of a whole network — took over from Jeff Zucker after Zucker was sunk by a sex scandal.

Network insiders last week sounded a note of frustration, saying Licht seems scarcely more familiar with the network or its staff than he was when he took over in May 2022.

“He’s constantly with an entourage,” said one. “You see him rush by with his lackeys, but he doesn’t stop to talk with us regular folk. It’s like he’s scared of us.”

“He hates the job and can’t do it,” added a particularly succinct source, agreeing that the consensus at CNN HQ is that his days are already numbered.

Meanwhile, we hear there’s also frustration that Licht seems to look back to similarly struggling CBS for his inspiration. He’s picked up executives and on-air talent from the perennially third-place broadcaster, and he’s also in talks to put Gayle King in a primetime rotation, even though she was drafted by CBS to bolster its morning lineup but hasn’t delivered the numbers to match her hefty price tag. – Source
