This actress offspring who is a very recent Oscar winner/nominee had a father who was much higher on the list.

The father, while out of the country, once threw bottle of booze out of a hotel room window.

It landed many stories down on the head of a girl.

She had permanent damage to her head, and the actor said he would pay for all her bills, but never did.

He just fled the country as fast as he could.

Kim Novak says she woke up naked after party with Tony Curtis

“Tony Curtis had brought me a drink,” Novak, 89, explained in a bombshell interview with the Hollywood Reporter.

“I don’t know, I only had, I think, one drink there. But that’s the last thing I knew. I do not know anything afterward, cross my heart, hope to die. Don’t know what happened after that or how my car got back in front of my apartment.”

Novak believes her drink was spiked.

“I think Tony Curtis did it,” she said. Curtis died in 2010.

But without helplines such as the #MeToo movement — a social-justice outcry that would become a forceful demand to end sexual harassment against women some 60 years later — she stayed silent.

“People didn’t talk about things like that, but I could never figure it out … I’ve never blacked out in my entire life,” the “Picnic” star said.

When she woke up the next morning, Novak said, “I’ll just tell you the honest truth: I didn’t have my clothes on.”

The Golden Globe winner ultimately stepped away from the limelight in the mid-’60s, after then-Columbia Pictures studio head Harry Cohn died.

Cohn regularly referred to Novak as the “dumb, fat Polack,” she recalled in the interview — although, as the story notes, she was neither dumb, fat nor Polish.

He also threatened violence for openly sharing an intimate friendship with entertainment icon Sammy Davis Jr., a black man.

And while she readily admits to having endured several “#MeToo experiences” at the hands of Hollywood high rollers, Novak said Cohn wasn’t one of her perpetrators.

Besides a quick return to the spotlight as an awards presenter at the Oscars in 2014 — during which Donald Trump tweet-suggested that she should “sue her plastic surgeon” — Novak has spent the latter half of her life painting. – Source

Jamie Lee Curtis revealed that she had always felt she had been conceived in 1958 as a desperate bid to save the relationship: “Like any other save-the-marriage baby, I failed.”

The couple divorced acrimoniously in 1962, with Tony quickly marrying an 18-year-old co-star Christine Kaufmann. Leigh felt humiliated.

Jamie Lee added: “My parents hated each other my whole life. I was raised in a house of hatred…

“My mother persevered through it all and survived. I’m not sure my sister and I did. There was no Demi [Moore] and Bruce [Willis] amicable divorce or joint family vacations for us. No love was left between them.”

Curtis would have little involvement with his daughters for most of their lives and then spoke out in frustration about it towards the end of his life: “There was a long time after that when I didn’t get along with my daughters, because I didn’t see them. Not that Janet was stopping me. I was suffering a lot. I couldn’t be bothered with anybody.”

Jamie Lee refused to have anything to do with her father until her twenties but eventually built a cordial but distant relationship. In his final years, Curtis wanted to reconcile with his two eldest daughters. – Source
