The former A list dual language threat singer is going to be forced to settle with his former manager unless he wants what happened in the past to resurface and permanently end his career.

The manager teased it, so he would know it would come up in depositions which then would be leaked.

It is completely separate from the things that happened when he was a teen.

Manager: Rebecca Drucker

Who is Rebecca Drucker? Ex-manager suing Ricky Martin claims she saved him from ‘devastating scandal’

Following the charges of sexual abuse made against manager Edgardo Daz by members of his former band Menudo, Ricky Martin opted to remain silent. The singer is suddenly back in the news.

Rebecca Drucker, Martin’s former manager, who oversaw him from 2014 to 2018 and again from 2020 to 2022, has filed a lawsuit against him for more than $3 million. He “fostered a hostile work atmosphere,” according to Drucker, and “mistreated, twisted, and lied to her.”

The 15-page lawsuit, which was submitted to the LA Central District Court, according to the New York Post, alleges that Drucker supported Martin through “recording contracts, touring and sponsorship deals, and other professional endeavors,” adding, “With Rebecca at his side, Martin made millions of dollars and therefore owes Rebecca substantial commissions.” The manager said that Martin has drug misuse issues and has created a “toxic” work atmosphere while also claiming that she previously saved his career from a “devastating” controversy. “She shielded Martin from the repercussions of his careless transgressions for years. Rebecca acted in this way not just because she was his manager but also because she believed Martin to be a close friend of hers “the cited court case. It goes on to say, “Ricky Martin’s career was saved by Rebecca Drucker. There is only one issue: Despite Rebecca being due millions of dollars in commissions under their management agreement, Martin steadfastly and viciously refused to pay her.

Additionally, the manager asserts that despite being confronted with a “possibly career-ending allegation” in September 2020, the singer was able to “emerge unhurt and proceed with his professional rebirth” thanks to her counsel.” The complaint claims, “Martin, for one of many examples, received a letter from a renowned litigation lawyer in Los Angeles, California, in or around September 2020. Martin and Rebecca read the legal letter together for the first time as they stood side by side. In that letter, the lawyer threatened to launch a lawsuit against Martin in public if he did not make a payment to settle a claim made against him by his client.”

Their commercial partnership was “forced” to end, according to the lawsuit, which has been underlined. Martin allegedly regularly misled and deceived Drucker, according to Drucker. Drucker resigned in July 2021 after a “communication breakdown,” but Martin once more “begged” her to stay. She consented, but according to the lawsuit, she later resigned in April 2022. – Source

Ricky Martin slapped with $3M lawsuit with ‘career-ending allegation’

Ricky Martin has been hit with a $3 million lawsuit from his ex-manager Rebecca Drucker.

Drucker — who worked with Martin from 2014 to 2018 and then again from 2020 to 2022 — is suing the Latin music icon, 50, for unpaid commissions, according to legal docs, filed Wednesday in Los Angeles Central District Court, that mention a “potentially career-ending allegation.”

Drucker noted that she worked with him on two separate occasions due to his “personal and professional life [being] in absolute turmoil” and allegedly helped the Puerto Rican singer navigate the world of “recording contracts, touring and sponsorship deals, and other professional endeavors.”

“Rebecca Drucker saved Ricky Martin’s career,” the 15-page suit, seen by The Post, alleged. “There is just one problem: Martin completely and maliciously refused to pay Rebecca the millions of dollars in commissions that he owes her under their management agreement.”

“With Rebecca at his side, Martin made millions of dollars and therefore owes Rebecca substantial commissions,” the complaint claimed.

Drucker also claimed in the suit that the “Livin’ la Vida Loca” crooner was threatened and intimidated with a “potentially career-ending allegation” in September 2020.

“Rebecca has also fiercely protected Martin,” she alleged in the suit, noting that she “advised him and brought in top litigation counsel to handle the matter.”

Due to her help and knowledge of the music industry, she noted, Martin reportedly “emerged unscathed and proceeded with his professional resurgence.”

“Now set to play a lead role in the highly anticipated Apple TV+ series ‘Mr. and Mrs. American Pie,’ Martin is once again primed to reach the heights of fame and fortune,” Drucker claimed. – Source
