If the former social media star isn’t dead, then this would be a much bigger way to relaunch yourself back to society, then hey, remember me.

Also, if she is dead, then maybe this is someone to take her place with no one the wiser.

I mean, it has been five years.

Do we know what she looks like?

Lil Tay

Lil Tay, known for her portrayal as the “World’s Youngest Flexer,” where she showcased opulent living through rap and social media, had amassed a substantial following of 3.2 million on Instagram. However, her account had remained inactive since 2018.

It all originated with a post on Lil Tay’s Instagram account declaring she and her brother, Jason Tian, had died on Wednesday.

“We have no words to express the unbearable loss and indescribable pain,” read the statement, which has since been removed. “This outcome was entirely unexpected, and has left us all in shock.”

On Wednesday, Christopher Hope, Lil Tay’s father, refrained from verifying the reports of her alleged dath and chose not to provide an official statement. Efforts to contact Angela Tian, Lil Tay’s mother, via telephone proved unfruitful. Authorities in both Los Angeles and Vancouver, British Columbia—places where Lil Tay was recognized to have resided—confirmed that no records pertaining to such deaths were on file.

In a twist of events, Lil Tay’s alleged death announcement circulated on her Instagram account early Wednesday morning has been revealed to be false. On Thursday, NBC News received a statement from an undisclosed individual claiming to represent the family, putting an end to the confusion.

The statement emphasized, “I want to unequivocally state that my brother and I are secure and alive. However, I am profoundly shattered, grappling to find the appropriate words to express my emotions. The past 24 hours have been deeply distressing.”

The clarification also addressed the incorrect name circulated by certain sources, clarifying that her true legal identity is Tay Tian, not Claire Hope as inaccurately reported.

Setting the record straight, Lil Tay asserts that she is very much alive and that her Instagram account had been compromised, exploited to disseminate distressing misinformation concerning both her and her brother’s alleged death.

Prior to this incident, Lil Tay found herself entangled in a custody dispute between her parents, Angela Tian and Christopher Hope. This legal battle, ongoing since 2018, coincided with her withdrawal from the online sphere.
