You see: back in the day, before this world famous host classed it up, she swam in the same waters as the others, always trying to do a show more outrageous than the last. The one in question was on the theme of Parental Concern (which was the usual way of deflecting criticism about certain topics), and it involved a practice allegedly popular with bored and risk-taking teens.

I remember watching this episode myself, boys on stage with their dads talking not just about a generally uncomfortable subject, but one that featured this added element.

Apparently after this episode aired there were copycat cases across the country, including at least two boys in this posh town basically across the water from a coastal city – the same place the celeb lived and died.
