The Pimp

On a piece of land a couple of miles outside of Laytonville, California and another just outside Garberville are a group of about five trailers formed in somewhat of a circle with a large open space in the middle filled with a couple of picnic tables.

They are on private land owned by the least likely of actors to own such a piece of land, especially when I tell you what they are used for. This guy (Neal McDonough) is probably B+ list.

All of you know his face and he is deeply religious.

Well, he claims to be deeply religious.

He has expressed reservations about certain parts which has cost him jobs.

He is not from that family of actors (NOT Kirk Cameron) you may have in your head right now, although, I would agree that would be great.

I also think he would not be considered the least likely, just because of what he did when he was younger when it came to women.

Anyway, neither here nor there.

Apparently our actor inherited the parcels of land along with some others in Northern California that were leftovers from many dozens that had been sold as vacation parcels.

The two which are the subject of the blind are a little more remote.

The person he inherited them from used these two parcels as rentals during music festivals.

People would camp there or bring their trailers.

One year some escorts opened up shop in a trailer at the camp site and did the same thing at the other camp site.

Each year, they would return and ended up staying longer and longer.

It was not long before there were a couple trailers in each spot all year long.

In addition to the rent, they would give the owner of the land a small percentage of what they earned.

Over the years, the number of trailers has grown as the pot industry has exploded.

When his relative died, the actor had no idea any of this was going on.

He learned about it really quickly.

You would think, given his moral high ground that he would shut the places down or sell them to someone else.

Nope.

He keeps right on taking that monthly rent and also the percentage of the sex trade they kick up.

Neal McDonough

Actor Neal McDonough says he lost a job because he refused to do a sex scene: ‘It was hard for a few years’

There is a reason audiences don’t see actor Neal McDonough, who has appeared on shows including Arrow and Justified, in love scenes. It’s his wife of 15 years, model Ruvé Robertson.

In an interview with Closer, McDonough spoke about his stance on such scenes and how it’s affected his career.

“I won’t kiss any other woman because these lips are meant for one woman,” McDonough said of his wife.

The magazine asked McDonough how he has managed to avoid doing love scenes, especially on the soapy Desperate Housewives, on which he appeared in 2008 and 2009.

“When [creator] Marc Cherry signed me, I said, ‘I’m sure you know, but I won’t kiss anybody,’” McDonough recalled. “He was like, ‘But this is Desperate Housewives!’ I said, ‘I know.’ He paused for about five seconds and said, ‘All right, I’m just going to have to write better.’ And we had a great time.” – Source
