Bethenny Frankel Spills Details on Her New Upcoming Reality Shows

Skinnygirl founder Bethenny Frankel recently announced her departure from Bravo TV’s Real Housewives of New York. The former reality star is now pursuing other projects with producer Mark Burnett and shared some news on what’s in the works.

No longer a ‘Housewife’

In August, Frankel announced she was leaving the Real Housewives series. “I have decided to leave the Housewives franchise to explore my next chapter. It’s time to move on and focus on my daughter, my philanthropy and my production partnership with Mark Burnett, producing and starring in shows which represent a shift in the conversation for women,” Frankel said in a statement to People, referring to her 9-year-old daughter Bryn whom she shares with ex Jason Hoppy.

Frankel’s decision to move on was not monetary but rather her instinct that it was time to follow a new path. “It wasn’t about money,” Frankel said, according to People. “If I went back, it was about money, if that makes any sense. When I joined The Housewives, everyone told me not to do it and I went with my gut to do it. And when I thought about leaving, everyone told me not to leave. And I went with my gut to leave.”

The Skinnygirl mogul also revealed that she prefers exiting when things are going well. “I like to leave when something for me is at its peak and I was talking to Bravo about many different things and I just decided let’s roll, it’s time to go,” Frankel said. – Source
