Why Is He Lying?

When I was chatting with my source last night about the Kenya situation, another topic came up briefly.

It was about a different reality show with a particularly awful production company.

Production companies produce an episode of the show and submit a rough cut to Bravo for approval.

They will either accept it as is or make some notes for things they want changed.

Then they send the production company a check. Until recently, no episode has ever just been outright rejected.

Bravo found the first episode of this currently taping season so bad they just rejected the storyline completely and told them to start over.

I have felt like this production company needed to be fired for years.

I found that interesting, but not really interesting enough to share with y’all.

Then someone sends me a link to a story where one of the guys on the show I am referring to was on a podcast.

On that show he said that filming has not started yet.

Um, yes it has.

Why is he lying?

Is he just too drunk to notice the camera crew?

I found that so bizarre.

They are about to have to start all over again though.

This entire show needs to just lay down and die.

Shep Rose Says ‘Southern Charm’ Season 7 Hasn’t Started Filming the Next Season Yet

While the show was met with lackluster ratings and without Thomas Ravenel, fans anticipated the show would return with a seventh season. Bravo hasn’t officially announced a new season, but several cast members will be hosting a Southern Charm-style brunch at BravoCon. Currently, cast members like Craig Conover, Kathryn Dennis, Austen Kroll and will appear at the coveted New York City event.

But what about that seventh season? Shep Rose addressed an upcoming season on The Ross Bolen podcast and says the typical filming cycle has yet to commence. Does that mean the show will be on hiatus? Or even canceled?
Filming has yet to begin

Rose mused about how Southern Charm came to fruition, plus shared that filming typically begins shortly after the previous televised season ends. But this year seems to be a little different.

Bolen asks how the filming schedule works with Southern Charm. “We’ve done six seasons,” Rose says. But Bolen wonders if the cast had a break between seasons with regard to filming. “No, we’ve rock and rolled,” Rose replies regarding every season up until now.

Although Rose shared that the cast isn’t currently filming, he doesn’t think this is the end of the road for the show either. “If I had a gun to my head, I’d say that they’d want us to do another season,” he shares. “The ratings were pretty good.” He then continues to discuss how the show was created and came to light on Bravo. – Source
