If he pays, then the lawyer can keep saying what he has always said or even better sign a mutual NDA and say his hands are tied when it comes to discussing things.

Jeffrey Epstein victim’s defamation lawsuit against Alan Dershowitz will require testimony of Victoria’s Secret CEO Les Wexner

A nasty legal battle between Jeffrey Epstein victim Virginia Giuffre and Alan Dershowitz broadened Tuesday, as attorneys for the retired Harvard Law professor said they’d call Victoria’s Secret CEO Leslie Wexner to the stand.

Giuffre alleges Dershowitz defamed her by repeatedly calling her a liar out to make money. Giuffre, who has said Epstein used her as an underage “sex slave,” claims she had sex with Dershowitz at the sex offender’s Upper East Side mansion, among other locations.

A heated hearing in Manhattan Federal Court featured Dershowitz frequently passing notes to his attorneys and loudly advising them as they addressed Judge Loretta Preska.

Dershowitz attorney Imran Ansari said that he would call Wexner to testify about the allegation that Giuffre tried to extort the billionaire businessman with murky financial ties to Epstein.

“Leslie Wexner does have a big part in the background here,” Ansari said. “The only person who knows whether Mr. Wexner was extorted is him and his people.”

The contentious case has become a proxy battle between Dershowitz, who represented Epstein, and high-powered attorney David Boies, whose firm represents Giuffre.

Dershowitz says he has a key piece of evidence: a recording of Boies admitting Giuffre’s allegations are not credible.

But Preska seemed skeptical the audio could be played for the jury because ethics rules for New York attorneys prohibit a secret recording of another person.- Source
