It is almost as if the producers/creator all joined an organization that is very anti psychotic meds. The story line is a lie, but it is going to get people killed. The people in charge are spreading a very dangerous message. You cannot go off this particular drug on your own. You need to do it under the watchful eye of the doctor who prescribed it.
It is not the first time the producer exchanged debts for sexual favors. A former East Coast Housewife had the same arrangement.
This showrunner/creator finally got busted by his wife hooking up with the "talent." All of those castoffs from the long running reality show were subject to being hit on by the boss. As you can guess, the vast majority said yes.
I don't think anyone ever wishes someone would die, but lately it seems that has been the case. Another example was yesterday, when for a brief moment, a staffer at a production office overheard this permanent A+ list television producer say, "So close," in an excited way over learning of the near death of a former A- list "employee." That "employee" has a ton of dirt and has been getting paid to keep it quiet.
