When we first got the origin story of this superherotwo decades ago, it was inspired by a real life wrestler (Randy "Macho Man" Savage). So, naturally, the wrestler was invited to be in the movie, playing a wrestler. In one of the shots, he ended up doing career ending damage to his neck.
