The infamous celebrity who recently journeyed back to the scene of the crime thought she could sell her wedding as a reality show or a one off.

Nope.

No one is interested.

She still has a big budget though and doesn’t want to spend any of her own cash.

So, she wants fans to put up the money.

Amanda Knox and fiancé Christopher Robinson brazenly beg for wedding funds

Amanda Knox, having found happiness in the wake of her murder exoneration, is crowd-funding her upcoming nuptials.

She and fiancé Christopher Robinson issued a plea for funds in lieu of a wedding registry in light of Knox’s recent trip to Italy to participate on a panel about false convictions.

She returned to Italy last month for the first time since being acquitted of a crime she was tried twice for before being ultimately found innocent by Italy’s highest court. Knox and then-boyfriend Raffaele Sollecito had been accused, and initially convicted, of the horrific 2007 murder of her roommate, 21-year-old Meredith Kercher, a fellow exchange student.

Knox, 31, spent four years in prison before being released in 2011. In July she returned to participate in a panel, “Trial by Media,” as part of a conference called the Criminal Justice Festival.

The couple’s registry declares that the trip used up all their wedding funds.

“We weren’t expecting to be planning a wedding and Amanda’s first ever return trip to Italy at the same time,” the couple wrote on their galactically themed registry page. “But when the Italy Innocence Project invited Amanda to speak at their inaugural wrongful convictions event, we couldn’t pass up the opportunity. With scant time to plan, and no financial backing, we had to spend our wedding funds on this challenging and important journey.”

They are asking for at least $10,000 to throw the “best party ever,” according to the site.

“Now we’re asking for help so that we can shower our friends and family with love and celebration!” they said.- Source
